Question:
We are now using Stratovan DICOS version 2.0 and with it there is a maximum file size limit of 0xffffffff or about 4.2GB. In our application the image data can be more than 9GB in size.
To output DICOS with data size greater than 4.2 GB the only option is to enable compression. We are trying to avoid paying the performance penalty with compression for our application.
Questions and Response:
Is the support of Image data of more than 4.2GB in the Stratovan DICOS product pipeline?
Does new version address this issue?
Answers
Yes, DICOS V02A has added support for saving uncompressed files greater than 4GB (The DICOS term for it is "Little Endian Explicit Extended").
